Henri Eskelinen

Henri Eskelinen

Henri studied film and acting in Finland, and has significant experience in the Finnish Defence Forces, where he reached the rank of junior sergeant specializing in reconnaissance radio operations.

Afterward, he graduated in dramatic theatre acting from NATFA under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Penko Gospodinov, sharing: "Theatre, for me, is a place where you can be free. There should be no taboos on stage, and things should be revealed as they are – the truth."

Scottish Nobleman in "The Merchant of Venice" (dir. Yavor Gardev)

Vigo Chive in "The Night of the Tribades"

Martin in "Casting - The Musical"

Absalon in "The Canterbury Tales"

Davy and Alex in "Duck Duck Goose"

In 2018, he directed "Lahjoista parhain" (The Best Gift) at Laajasalo College in Helsinki, where he applied his devising method on an original concept.

Henri is skilled in French clowning, improvisation, plays guitar, sings, and even does beatboxing.
