Madlen Yordanova is a Bulgarian theatre and film actress from Pernik. She graduated from NATFA “Krastyo Sarafov” in the class of Prof. Atanas Atanasov, after which she began working as a freelance actress, appearing on the stages of leading theatres in Bulgaria – the “N. O. Massalitinov” Drama Theatre in Plovdiv, the “Azaryan” Theatre, the “N. Binev” Youth Theatre, and the Sfumato Theatre Workshop. Some of her memorable roles include productions such as “#MEETING”, “Twelfth Night”, “Five Women Wearing the Same Dress”, “Under the Heavenly Dome”, “The Unwanted”, and “Anatol’s Love.”

Since 2016 she has been part of “The Clones” – a professional improvisational theatre troupe with HaHaHa Impro Theatre, with whom she has performed in numerous shows and improvisational formats.

In 2018 she made her film debut in I Love You, Boydin, and in 2020 she presented her original solo performance Poetry and Jazz, where she combines Shakespearean sonnets, live music, and improvisation.

Alongside her acting work, Madlen teaches acting, improvisational theatre, and stage speech, working with children and young people. For her, theatre is more than art – it is a meeting between people, where the actor serves Truth through play and the spoken word.
